Role description

The ideal candidate will be able to support the business unit to ensure it stays in line with NRSWA 1991 regulations and HSG47 Guidance, promoting a positive image of the company. Your key tasks will be to support the Operational and Planning Teams in their roles by providing administrative support across the team.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities

The successful individual will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Management and Coordinators responsible for the administration of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 on behalf of the Client Utility.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Must be confident when liaising with colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Competent in use of MS office suite
  • Able to work accurately and methodically under pressure and to strict deadlines

General Duties

  • Receiving and logging utility drawing (Stats) pack requests.
  • Requesting and downloading utility drawing information through Utility Provider on-line portals or via email request.
  • The preparation, printing and binding of utility drawing pack requests and/or emailing packs.
  • Filing all relevant documentation associated with each client project.
  • Liaising with relevant Utility Providers to maintain logins and access to on-line portals.
  • Providing monthly updates of numbers and performance toward KPI’s.
  • To liaise with Project Managers and Site Agents on a regular basis to keep the Stats packs as up to date as possible.
  • To help support Management, Planners and Coordinators with all other relevant duties and requests to enable the smooth running of the Team.
