The Talent Acquisition Adviser will be responsible for working closely with the Talent Lead and hiring managers to provide a high-quality attraction, recruitment, and selection service for the business – focusing on quality, cost and timeliness.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years Recruitment experience (agency or internal)
  • Must have experience using an ATS
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to build professional relationships quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and positive attitude
  • Initiative to take ownership of projects
  • A self-starter, with the ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously

  • Proficiency in hiring within the Utilities sector is desirable

General Duties:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with passive candidates to build a talent pipeline
  • Executing recruitment plan agreed upon in key department meetings
  • Working proactively with internal stakeholders to build relationships and ensure a connected approach; this includes the wider People Team
  • Building solid relationships with key internal stakeholders across all departments
  • Supporting interviews and feedback; delivering efficient feedback and market insight
  • Screening applicants, arranging and conducting telephone interviews, arranging face-to-face interviews with our hiring managers
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple roles simultaneously
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates
  • Offer all hiring managers training in short listing, interview, recruitment, and selection activities
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from brief to onboarding
  • Reporting weekly Open Vacancies to the business
  • Cultivate partnerships with external agencies, leveraging their expertise when needed
  • Ensure timely feedback is given to candidates and 3rd party suppliers and candidates and suppliers are left with a positive experience of JSM
  • Delivery of recruitment metrics, providing reports on crucial metrics and outcomes
