We have recognised that when it comes to the wearing of PPE on site we are not uniformed across the company. We have accepted for many years to allow different parts of the company to have different PPE requirements. It has now been recognised that this is not acceptable and we are sending out the wrong message to all our staff, clients, public and the HSE.
As from Monday 20th January 2012 we made it mandatory across all of JSMs sites that the following PPE requirements are required:
Hearing Protection (As and when required or as the site specific risk assessment dictates)
Dust Masks (As and when required or as the site specific risk assessment dictates)
Please ensure that before you enter any of our sites that you are in possession of the full PPE requirements as you will be refused entry otherwise. If you require PPE please speak to your line manager.
